Verizon&#8217;s millimeter wave in the US is <strong>28GHz band<\/strong>, i.e., the high-frequency band, and it would only <b>t<\/b><strong>ake 4 seconds to download a 1GB movie<\/strong>, yet the signal gets lost as it goes through the wall, and this is because the millimeter wave in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elepcb.com\/blog\/high-frequency-pcb\/\" data-lark-is-custom=\"true\">high-frequency<\/a> band has weak penetration ability and a relatively smaller coverage area, despite having a faster transmission rate.<\/div><div class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-PGFad3ghroXqYSxY4qVcNWDOneg\">In addition, carriers use different names to differentiate between band combinations, and a &#8220;<strong>5G UW\/UC<\/strong>&#8221; marking on your phone means you&#8217;re using the carrier&#8217;s <strong>quickest
